Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs

Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs represent an area of some of the most tightly held real estate in Australia, if not the world. Eastern Suburbs real estate is sought after by local, interstate and international homebuyers and investors. Quite simply, there is more demand than supply of quality property in the East.

Sydney’s Inner West

Sydney is dubbed a ‘City of Villages’ for good reason. Geographically we are compact but each area or village very much has its own culture, tribe and its own way of doing business. Sydney’s Inner West is a sprawl of villages within villages and could be described as the organic alt sibling to Sydney’s East and North with an emphasis on craft, creativity and community mindedness.

 

Inner Westies value relationships and this extends to the property game where we see real state agents take a more human and less transactional approach with buyers and sellers. Our local knowledge and our relationships with local agents give us the edge to find and buy quality Inner West homes.

Sydney’s North Shore

Sydney’s North Shore has two major arterials. One meanders through the bayside suburbs of Kirribilli, Neutral Bay and Mosman on its way to the Northern Beaches. The other leans to the West stretching from Waverton to, Willoughby and Lane Cove, then further on to Killara Pymble and Turramurra. Beyond the mini business districts of North Sydney, Chatswood and St Leonards the Northern suburbs are generally leafy safe enclaves- a mix of traditional homes, townhouses and apartments, with many pockets developing, but at a more sedate pace than many other parts of Sydney. The Sydney Metro NorthWest line is underway and on track to connect many suburbs between the Hills district and the CBD by 2024.

 

The North side features many beautiful homes but often without the ostentatiousness of the East. We find a substantial number of properties trade quietly off-market and credibility and local relationships are required to have visibility across the everything that might be available to purchase.

Sydney City

Sydney’s Inner City suburbs have always been a vibrant and exciting place to live and since the end of the pandemic much of the City of Sydney LGA is undergoing a renaissance. We are seeing improvements to the quality of life in these suburbs due to upgrades to public transport, cycleways, public/green spaces and planning allowing an increase in diversity of retail, services and food and beverage. Completing multi unit developments are more design focused and more coherent with existing streetscapes.

 

An abundance of heritage protected terraces and warehouses ensures a diversity of design and when coupled with the high value of land prompts designers to be creative with smaller spaces. We have experienced a renewed interest in city fringe life from clients and are always  buying for singles, couples, young families, and older downsizers looking to return from the suburbs and rejoin the action. The city fringe is no longer a place to work, its a place to live -for all ages and all walks of life.
